Intensive Therapy
WHAT IS INTENSIVE THERAPY?
Intensive therapy utilizes a variety of therapeutic interventions at a much higher frequency and intensity than traditional therapy to improve mobility and strength for children with motor disabilities.
Intensive therapies are generally;
– 3 Hours a Day, 5 Days a Week, for 3-4 Weeks!
Interventions used:
– Therasuit
– Spidercage
– CME
– Hypervibe
& more!

THERASUIT
Therasuit Method focuses on providing proprioceptive sensory input and postural support to allow children with disabilities to learn (or relearn) proper motor patterns and make the necessary neuro connections to make each movement “muscle memory”.
CME
CME is a dynamic technique used in physical and occupational therapy aimed at provoking improved postural responses in children to promote progress toward developmental milestones (Napa Center, 2020).
